THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL ADRIATIC PIANO FEST HERCEG NOVI
June 12 - June 15

The second edition of the International Adriatic Piano Fest will be held from June 12 to 15 in Herceg Novi, organized by the NGO Montenegrin Music Association, with the support of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Ministry of Culture and Media and the Ministry of Tourism.
The festival is an event dedicated to piano, with a special focus on the competitive part of the program, and apart from the concert content, it aims to promote musical education, artistic development and the affirmation of young talents.
This year, more than 60 young artists from Montenegro, the region, Italy and Lithuania applied for participation, and the contestants will perform in nine categories – from the youngest talents to professional artists.
Their performances will be judged by an expert jury consisting of Maja Basarab, Jana Cheteleva, Amsal Ganović, Teresa Trevisan, Aleksandar Đermanović and Bojan Martinović.
The competition program will begin on June 12 at 11 a.m. in the “Park” Hall, while the festival will be officially opened by last year’s laureate and one of the most outstanding young European pianists, Vasilije Basarab, whose concert is scheduled for 8 p.m.
As part of the festival, on June 13, the concert “Maestro Radovan Papović’s Evening – Music from the Montenegrin Court” will be held, starting at 8 p.m., which will also represent the premiere performance of the newly formed Herzegovinian chamber orchestra “Gaudeamus”, conducted by violinist Vili Ferdinandi.
Opera artist Jadranka Jovanović, sopranos Jovana Ražnatović, Tijana Blečić Perović and Nataša Jovović, violinist Luka Perazić and pianist Dejan Krivokapić will perform at the concert.
At the beginning of the evening, the song “My City”, written by Dragomir Karl Đorđević, will be performed by student Luka Đokić.
During the next two days of the festival, workshops and masterclasses will be organized, while the end of the event on June 15 will be marked by the awarding of diplomas, certificates of appreciation and prizes, as well as a concert by the first-prized participants.
The complete program of the festival will be realized in the “Park” Hall.
