The promotion of the novel “King’s Border” by the writer Miloš Latinović awaits us on Monday, August 17 at 8:30 p.m. in the House of the Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić. Author and journalist and publicist Vitka Vujnović will talk about the book.

The novel “King’s Border” tells the story of Banat after the First World War, about the time of new borders and the destinies of people who are changed by history. Through the meeting of Miloš Crnjanski and Dušan Vasiljev in Kikinda, as well as through a contemporary story imbued with the symbolism of the mysterious Banat mud, Latinović shapes a novel about memory, identity, past and present.

Miloš Latinović was born in Kikinda, he is the author of several novels, collections of stories, essays and dramatic texts. He is a long-time journalist and cultural worker, until recently the director of Bitef, one of the most important theater festivals in the region.
