The tourist organization of Herceg Novi informs the public that the first themed astrophotography and stargazing workshop “Orjen under the night sky”, originally planned for August 15, has been postponed until further notice.
This decision was made as a sign of deep solidarity with our fellow citizens whose property is currently threatened by the fires that have engulfed parts of our municipality. We believe that at this challenging moment, all the resources and attention of the community must be focused on the safety and support of those affected by this disaster.
Also, considering that the location of the event is in the hinterland, the cancellation is necessary for security reasons, in order to avoid any risk to the participants.
We express our great gratitude and respect to all the firefighters, protection services and volunteers who tirelessly fight the fire in the field.
The new date of the workshop will be announced later.
We thank all registered participants for their understanding.
