We are delighted to introduce one of the talented artists of the Operosa Summer Opera Academy – soprano Marta Hadžimanov, who performs the role of Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love) on 8 August at Forte Mare Fortress.
Marta Hadžimanov is based in Germany, where she is pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Opera and Concert/Lied at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, under the guidance of Professor Caroline Melzer.
Her growing international career includes performances as Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), the title role in Alcina, Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Najade (Ariadne auf Naxos), and Titania, while at the age of just 17 she made her professional stage debut as Christine Daaé in he Phantom of the Opera.
Marta has appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonie, and Vienna’s Hofburg Palace.
