“TOLERANCE” PROJECT – INTERNATIONAL POSTER EXHIBITION

July 3- 8:00 pm

The international exhibition “Tolerance” (The Tolerance Project), a global initiative that promotes the values of mutual respect, understanding and acceptance of diversity through graphic design, will be opened on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 8 p.m., in Njegoševa Street in Herceg Novi.

On specially placed panels along Njegoševa street, 30 original posters of internationally recognized designers from different countries of the world will be presented, who interpret the concept of tolerance in a unique way through modern visual expression.

The project was initiated in 2017 by the world-renowned artist Mirko Ilić, one of the most internationally significant contemporary illustrators and graphic designers, whose rich curriculum includes work in media such as The New York Times, Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and many other leading world media, as well as teaching practices and curatorial work in the field of socially engaged design.

The idea of the “Tolerance” Project is to bring together authors of different cultures and professional experiences around a universal theme that transcends national, political and social boundaries.
