A historical war drama set at the time of the Balkan Wars in 1912, which through the fate of one family brings a story of love, honor, revenge, sacrifice and the fight for freedom.

Through the memories of Sofia, who reveals family secrets and tragedies, the film follows lives marked by wars, losses, forbidden loves and injustice. Her path to the committees becomes a path of maturing and facing the past, but also a choice between revenge and justice.

“Balkan War” is not only a story about war, but about family, memory and generations that kept faith, honor and hope in the most difficult times.
