On the nineteenth of August, on the Feast of the Transfiguration, in the garden of the House of Ivo Andrić in Herceg Novi starting at 9 p.m., the audience will experience another extraordinary evening directed by Ivana Žigon.

The garden of our Nobel laureate’s home is the right place where the book deserves much more than a simple presentation — a place where it gets the power to come alive. The monograph on Jelena Jovanović Žigon, “Jelena of Montenegro”, will speak live with her appearance and voice. The voices of mother and daughter, Jelena and Ivana, will intertwine in fractions of a second, as if they are not far between two worlds. Through Ivana, Jelena will tell the most interesting stories and anecdotes about her life, responding to “roadside signs” as proof that, quite unexpectedly, she is still with us.

General Mitar Martinović will speak with the voice of the ancients and his lessons:

“Let’s renew our shine! We appear before each other with new and new works, we appear before each other as if we were the Sun!
