PLAY “HOTEL 88”
June 6- 9:00 pm

The performance: “Hotel 88” will be performed on Saturday, June 6, at 9 p.m., on the stage of the Park Hall.
Based on the story “Private Lives” by Noel Coward, directed by Staša Koprivica.
“Hotel 88” is about the lives of people who combine love and similar interests. In this play, the actors are: Anđela Jovanović, Tamara Krcunović, Andrija Kuzmanović, Vladimir Aleksić.
The performance is specific because of its action and place of performance, because it is not what we are used to – a theater. Namely, the action of the play takes place, but also takes place in a hotel (88 Rooms Hotel/Radisson Collection) where both couples are on their honeymoon at the same time. The turning point happens when the past knocks on the door of previous loves, and all four characters experience changes and certain re-examinations during one night. It was the Hollywood drama Private Lives from 1931 that got its Serbian adaptation. Each of these four characters is an image and example of real people who are certainly in our environment and yours.
What characterizes this play is precisely – laughter. A comedy during which dry, monotonous scenes are endlessly funny and entertaining. Prejudices that exist for certain professions and life situations are presented here in a comical way, and the audience will certainly be encouraged to think after the last scene.
An example of this is the existence of Sandra, self-proclaimed
The “lifestyle” of a blogger, whose functioning is impossible without daily likes and live engagements on Instagram and Facebook. Familiar? Sandra fully depicts today’s professions that are underestimated, regardless of the fact that they have their own clever purpose. Male characters, on the other hand, put their ego before everything, so all those male stereotypes emerge on the throne, which causes constant laughter from the audience.
You can buy tickets at the price of 20 euros at the box office of the Park Hall, as well as online at: hercegfestulaznice.me
