NIGHTS OF GEOPOETICS IN THE HOUSE OF IVO ANDRIĆ – MILAN RISTOVIĆ
July 16- 8:30 pm - July 17- 12:00 am

Nights of Geopoetics will be held in the House of Nobel Laureate Ivo Andrić in Herceg Novi on July 16 and 17, a two-night literary program organized by JUK Herceg Fest and the publishing house Geopoetika.
On the first evening, July 16, historian, writer and co-founder of Geopoetika Milan Ristović will present his books Small Notebook and Silenced Voices to the audience. A respected professor and author of numerous scientific and literary works, Ristović combines personal memories, history and the fate of “little people” in these books, confirming his status as one of the most important authors who explore the connection between history and literature.
On the second day, July 17, the guest of the program will be writer, screenwriter and director Nađa Petrović, who will talk about her award-winning novel Jellyfish live forever until they are caught. The novel, which was shortlisted for the NIN award and won the “Grozdana Olujić” award for the best prose book in 2023, attracted the attention of critics and readers with a strong and authentic story about growing up, love, loss and the search for identity.
Interviews with the authors will be led by Jasna Novakov Sibinović, director and editor-in-chief of Geopoetika.
Programs start at 8:30 p.m.
