The International Children’s Carnival, organized by the NGO Youth Center and Cultural and Sports Center Diano, will be held for the 17th time on Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6. 30 groups will present themselves at the carnival, and around 1,000 participants will gather on both days. The little capo of the carnival is Danilo Šušić, princess Barbara Janković, and the big capo is the actor Goran Slavić.

In addition to the hosts – Herzegovinian primary schools, all educational units of JPU Naša radost and dance clubs from our city, children from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Macedonia will participate.

The carnival is planned to begin tomorrow, June 5, at 7 p.m., with a ceremonial parade of Herzegovinian preschoolers from Boka Park to Nikola Đurković Square. After that, the President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi will hand over the keys to the city to the little cap and the carnival princess. The carnival flag will be raised at the opening ceremony.

On Saturday, June 6, a traditional procession awaits us, from 6 p.m., from Belavista Square to Boka Park and the main stage. There will be organized various points, numerous surprises, with the obligatory icy “ice clock”.

The general sponsor of the carnival is the Municipality of Herceg Novi. The golden sponsor is “Sfera art”, as well as numerous friends of the event.
