We are delighted to introduce one of the talented artists of the Operosa Summer Opera Academy – soprano Ayşenur Ayyıldız.
In the performance of Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love) on 8 August, at Forte Mare fortress, Ayşenur performs the role of Adina – a witty, intelligent, and independent young woman whose playful spirit conceals a tender heart.
Born in Istanbul, Ayşenur began her musical journey with piano studies before earning a degree in Economics from Marmara University. She later pursued her passion for music through vocal studies at the Haliç University Conservatory and the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno.
Since 2021, she has been a member of the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, performing both as a chorus artist and a soloist. Her repertoire includes roles such as Despina (Così fan tutte), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), The Priestess (Aida), and the iconic Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute).
