

FRENCH CUISINE WITH STARS IN HERCEG NOVI
On Sunday, October 19, at 7 p.m.,, Herceg Novi will host the prestigious event “French cuisine with stars”, which will be held in the exclusive setting of the Lazure Hotel & Marina. In recent years, the project has been profiled as one of the most significant cultural and gastronomic events in the region.
This unique project is being realized in the organization of Lazure Hotel & Marina and the international organization I love France, which is chaired by Slađana Novaković, the creator of the project, with the logistical support of the International Union of the Alsace Region -UIA. In previous years, the event achieved notable results in EU member states with a developed Michelin scene, confirming its importance as an instrument for promoting destinations and strengthening the hospitality and tourism potential.
The central event will be a gala dinner scheduled for October 19, 2025, which will be attended by the famous French chef Michel Husser, the owner of the restaurant that has continuously held a Michelin star for 88 years, as well as Christian Cottard, the world vice-champion in pastry.
Recognizing the importance of the event for the development and international promotion of the destination, the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi and the Municipality of Herceg Novi provided institutional support to the project and designated it as an event of strategic importance. With this, Herceg Novi confirms its position as a destination of luxury tourism and top gastronomy.
A special benefit for Herceg Novi and TOHN is the fact that the event will pave the way for establishing cooperation with the Alsace region. In this way, a bridge of international cooperation is established and conditions are created for tourist exchanges between France and Montenegro, with the aim of strengthening the promotion of destinations on the European and world market.
With this project, Herceg Novi will position itself as the gastronomic stage of the Mediterranean, where flavors and tradition meet with innovation and top culinary skills. Under the light of Michelin stars, the city gets the opportunity to show its authenticity and become a representative of a destination open to connections and exchange of knowledge.
The event “French cuisine with stars” thus goes beyond the scope of gastronomy – it is a platform for international cooperation, promotion and long-term partnership that positions TOHN at the center of European tourist flows.
