On Thursday, July 31, starting at 9:30 p.m., under the open sky of the magnificent “sea fortress” of Forte Mare, Maja Milinković will give an unusual concert, as a continuation of the manifestation of the “Herceg Novi Music Staircase”.
On a warm summer night, amidst the scents of salt and lavender, comes a voice that unites the two souls of the Mediterranean – fado and sevdah.
Maja Milinković, an artist from Sarajevo with a Lisbon address, also known as the Bosnian Amália Rodrigues, brings a concert from the heart. Her Fadolinka is not only a musical genre – it is a story about love, distances, silence and the strength of a woman who travels through tones and traditions.
The audience will have the opportunity to experience an authentic emotional evening – through Portuguese fado classics, Bosnian sevdah and Maja’s original songs that remain long after the last note has died down.
