THE THIRD MEMORIAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT "STRAHINJA DRAŠKOVIĆ"

The Third Memorial Basketball Tournament “Strahinja Drašković” is on the program in the organization of Basketball Club As on Sunday, November 2, as part of the celebration of Herceg Novi Municipality Day.

The tournament will be played in the Igalo Sports Center, in memory of Strahinja Drašković, who died in 2017 at the age of eleven.

There are 4 teams participating in the tournament that will compete in the mini basketball competition, for boys born in 2015 and 2016.

Tournament schedule:

– 09:00: BC As – KK Dubrovnik

– 10.15: BC Leotar – KK Budva Basket

The opening of the tournament is planned for 11:30 a.m., followed by a three-point shooting competition for the “Strahinja Drašković” Trophy.

At the first memorial tournament, held in 2023, the trophy was won by Nenad Lopičić, a member of KK Budva Basket. Last year, Đorđe Stanisavljević, a member of OBC Leotar from Trebinje, was the most accurate.

At 12:00 p.m., the third place match is on the program, while the final will be played from 1:15 p.m. The announcement of the best and awarding of cups and awards are planned for 2:30 p.m.
