THE NINTH INTERNATIONAL KLAPA FESTIVAL HERCEG NOVI

On Saturday, September 13, Herceg Novi will host a large traditional musical event – the 9th International Klapa Festival. The festival will be held at Music Square, i.e. Mićo Pavlović Square, starting at 8 p.m. The best klapa from the region will present an evening of real Mediterranean musical magic, and the audience will enjoy the unique sounds of klapa songs. A special attraction will be the concert of the “Kumpanji” klapa from Korčula.
Bands from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro will perform. Herceg Novi will host the following bands: “Divna” (Trpanj), “Maris” (Kotor), “Kampaneli” (Donji Kaštel), “Incanto” (Kotor), “Fritule” (Koper), “Lira” (Herceg Novi), “Ladesta” (Lastovo), “O’Dive bel canto” (Berane), “Mir” (Međugorje), “Koštil” (Korčula), “Camerton” (Podgorica).
The festival is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Ministry of Tourism, the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi and JUK Herceg Fest, which confirms the importance of the event in the cultural and tourist life of the city.
