This August, there is only one place on the Adriatic where the biggest stars, history and Mediterranean magic meet.

August 2 – Amira Medunjanin
August 3 – Tony Pusztai Oriental Trio
August 4 – Gipsy Kings
August 5 – Tamara Jokić Quartet
August 6 – Trio Rosenberg – La Familia

September 20 – Concert for the record

The jubilee 20th Guitar Art Summer Fest started with a concert by the legendary Bryan Adams on June 26, but the festival continues its biggest edition so far from August 2 to 6, when some of the biggest names in world music – Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo, Amira Medunjanin and Rosenberg band La Familia – will arrive on one of the most beautiful open-air stages in Europe – the Kanli Kula fortress.

Tickets are on sale through the online sales network tickets.rs, as well as online and at the box office of Herceg Fest.

With a view of the Bay of Kotor, among centuries-old stone walls and under the open sky, the audience can expect five evenings that go beyond the format of a classical concert.

On August 2, Amira Medunjanin – an emotion that conquers the world
One of the most respected interpreters of sevdah, an artist whose voice and emotions erase the boundaries between cultures and generations, Amira Medunjanin, will be with the audience on August 2. Under the open sky, with a view of the entrance to Boka, one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Amira brings melodies in which she masterfully interweaves tradition refined with contemporary sound, nostalgia, elegance and unique artistic strength. We highlight the interpretations of the famous pop and rock hits of the former Yugoslavia, which Amira incorporates into her performance with exceptional spontaneity.

August 3 Tony Pusztai Oriental Trio – A meeting of classical, jazz and ethno on Music Square. Entrance to the concert is free.

The audience in Herceg Novi is expecting a special musical evening with a performance by a virtuoso Hungarian trio led by the renowned classical and jazz guitarist Antal Tony Pusztai.
This unique concert brings a meeting of classical, jazz and ethno, combining different musical traditions in a contemporary and authentic sound. Through virtuoso interpretations, improvisation and strong stage energy, the trio takes listeners on an exciting musical journey filled with emotion, passion and superb artistic expression.

On August 4, Gipsy Kings – the rhythm of summer that doesn’t stop
On August 4, Kanli Tower will be filled with the energy and passion of the band Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo. They are the successors of the original group, so we expect from them great rhythms of flamenco, Catalan rumba, but also world hits that marked more than four decades of their successful career. All over the world, their concerts are a true celebration of music, life and togetherness, unforgettable because they have an atmosphere in which the boundary between the stage and the audience disappears. If there’s a band that can turn a fortress above the sea into the largest dance floor in the Mediterranean, it’s the legendary Gipsy Kings.

August 5 Tamara Jokić Quartet – A concert that connects worlds
The concert will be held at the Music Square in Herceg Novi. Entrance to the concert is free. Talented singer, songwriter and composer Tamara Jokić combines Balkan ferocity, Portuguese melancholy of fado and fiery Spanish flamenco, her concert is unforgettable – music as a universal language that talks about love, loss, passion, anger and inheritance. Tamara Jokić with her band consisting of: Dušan Popović Lipovac – guitar, Manos Stratis – bass and Petar Zorkić – percussion, will perform tracks from both of her albums at the concert – on the first “Transibérica”, fado and flamenco melodies evoke the breath of the Iberian Peninsula, while on the album “Kuća” she deeply explores her Balkan roots, creating a unique blend of regional traditions and contemporary sounds.

August 6 Rosenberg La Familia – virtuosity without borders
Rosenberg La Familia, representatives of the top of the world gypsy jazz scene, will be at Kanli Kula on August 6, presenting all the virtuosity, improvisation and authentic spirit of Django Reinhart’s music. They are led by the legendary guitarist Stochelo Rosenberg, an artist whom critics and audiences consider one of the greatest guitarists of today. His music is unmistakable, extremely melodic and the way he plays is considered one of the most brilliant forms of guitar playing.

All three concerts, three unique musical worlds, in the unforgettable ambience of the Kanli Tower, start at 9 p.m., and each of them confirms Guitar Art Summer Fest as one of the most important summer music festivals in the region. The festival experience is enough to make Herceg Novi the address for lovers of top music and those who have just discovered music here this summer.
