PROMOTION OF THE NOVEL "THE HISTORY OF SEARCH"

On Thursday, September 25, at 8:00 p.m., in the foyer of Dvorana Park, the Herceg Novi audience will be treated to a promotion of Miroslava Odalović’s novel “The History of Search” as part of “Novski Talas”.

Miroslava Odalović’s “The History of Search” is a contemporary literary experiment that combines essay and prose fragments in the research of the meaning of reading, memory and identity. Through the character of the “reader-acrobat” and the narrator’s relationship with the late Đedo, whose digital traces reveal hidden layers of the past, the book opens up a space for introspection and reflection. In this search, the personal and the collective, the everyday and the philosophical are interwoven, while languages, childhood, trauma and dealing with death are thematized.

Miroslava Odalović from Herceg Novi, English teacher at the Philological High School in Jagodina. Until now, she has published works in philosophy in the Yearbook of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Vranje, and the journal Creation, Cetinje. In 2002, under the author’s name Miroslava Miljković, she published a short novel “Fuga vremena”. He writes poetry, prose and aphorisms.

The dialogue with the author will be led by literary critic, poet and philosopher Višnja Kosović.
