PROMOTION OF THE BOOK "NOVSKA ČUDESA"

The promotion of the book “NOVSKA ČUDESA” by Rastko Jovetić, published by Knjižara So, will take place on Thursday, September 11, in the House of the Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić, at 8 pm.

As the 27th book in the Bokeljologija edition of the Herzegovinian Knjižara So, “Novska čudesa” by Rastko Jovetić (1940-2022) was published and in the opinion of editor Nikola Malović, they are the best collection of unusual stories that appeared in the city founded in 1382 due to the salt trade.

Inside the cover moves, or ships, a gallery of unusual characters. Some play brischula and treseta, some make love, some don’t know what to do with a gold ring from Damascus… We see captains, monks, whores, murderers, seafarers and villagers from the hinterland, we see various miracles – and Boka Kotorska is heaven on earth.

Nikola Malović, Biserka Švarc, Đorđe Malavrazić and Nikola Jovetić, the author’s son, will speak at the promotion.
