PORTONOVI NEW YEAR'S RUN

PortonovI New Year’s Run, which will be held on Saturday, January 3, at Portonovi Marina Square, is a sports-recreational event, with which we enter the New Year in the best way, through sports and entertainment suitable for the whole family, from the youngest who have just taken their first steps, all the way to recreational and experienced runners, who want to start the New Year through this fun event consisting of:

– Children’s races of a length adapted to the ages, from 2 to 12 years old, in which a set length is run, before crossing the finish line,

– Races for adults at 5 km, which consists of 3 and a half laps of running through Porton’s resort in the night atmosphere under the New Year’s lights, in a festive atmosphere.

The lengths of the children’s race are adapted to the ages, and the race itself will be preceded by a joint warm-up with the members of the Herceg Novi Triathlon Club.

New Year’s holidays are normally the period when Portonovi is traditionally decorated with a large number of New Year’s decorations, so this is also a unique opportunity for all running lovers, as well as those who want to run their first 5km, to feel the New Year’s charms through a night run under numerous lights and accompanied by music on the entire course.

HOURLY:

Saturday, January 3:
15.00 – 15.50: Gathering of children and collection of starting numbers
16.00: Start of the children’s race (by age group)
16.20 – 17.00: Awarding of medals and gifts to children
16.00 – 18.00: Gathering of adults and collection of starter packs
18.00: Warm-up and briefing with participants at Vista Square
18.15: Start of the race for adults from Vista Square (5000m)
19.30: Award ceremony

PRIZES:
– All children receive New Year’s gifts from Santa Claus, as well as medals for successful participation;
– All adult participants who successfully complete the race receive a unique finisher’s medal;
– The three fastest male and female participants in the general ranking of the 5000m race receive trophies;

FEES:
– The registration fee for the 5000m race for adults is €10.00 until 03.12.2025. year, after that €15.00
– The registration fee for participation in the Children’s Race is €10.00
– Payment of the registration fee is made exclusively electronically when filling out the application for participation;
