

ORDINARY – UNORDINARY EVENING WITH DARKO TANASKOVIĆ
An ordinary-extraordinary evening with diplomat and academic Darko Tanasković will be held on Monday, September 8, at 8 pm, in the House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić.
Through a conversation conducted with him by journalist and publicist Perica Đaković, visitors will have the opportunity to learn less known details from the life and work of Darko Tanasković – ambassador to Turkey (1995-1999), the Vatican, where he had the opportunity to personally meet three popes, then in Azerbaijan and UNESCO. Little is known that Mr. Tanasković reached the headquarters of the CIA and its first man.
Tanasković is at the same time a prolific scientist and writer, the author of dozens of books, among which stand out Anatomy of Thought, Turkish-Serbian Dictionary, Na Eastok Zapada, Islam i mi, Alija – Ulema ili Balija. For his work, he was awarded numerous recognitions and decorations, among which the Order of Pope Pius IX from the Holy See, the Order of Saint Sava of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Order of the Grand Cross of the Knights of Malta stand out.
In addition to Darko Tanasković, His Excellency, Ambassador of Serbia Nebojša Rodić, President of Herceg Novi Municipality Stevan Katić, Deacon Nenad Jovanović, editor of the aforementioned magazine, will also speak at this “Ordinary-Unusual Evening”, while the host of the evening is journalist and publicist Perica Đaković.
