On May 23, the One Run event will be held in Herceg Novi. This prestigious sports event is an international running project, the idea of which is to run a half marathon on the same day in a large number of countries around the world.

The race was organized for the first time in 2017 in Russia, and five years later it entered the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest half-marathon with a synchronized start. In the past five years, the event has grown significantly and today gathers more than 200 thousand participants in over 100 cities and 15 time zones.

Montenegro is part of this project for the first time this year, and Herceg Novi is the host. The local organizer of the race is Multisport Academy Mayer. The start and finish are in the Igalo Park, and the path practically stretches along the sea along its entire length. Although the focus is on the half marathon, One Run actually encompasses four disciplines:

10 km
21.1 km

The race in Herceg Novi will be part of the same global manifestation that is held that day in dozens of cities around the world. More than 250,000 runners are expected this year, in 30 states.

Registration for One Run Herceg Novi 2026 is open, and places are limited. Over a hundred participants have already registered, of which over 30 are for the longest distance, the half-marathon. Depending on the choice of race, participation is 10, 15, 20 or 25 euros.

The starter pack includes: T-shirt, medal, event bag and timing chip.
