On Tuesday, August 19, at 8:30 p.m., the literary evening “You and I were a couple” by Ljubica Arsić will be held in the House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić.
One of the most important contemporary Serbian writers, Ljubica Arsić, winner of the prestigious Andrić Prize and the Women’s Pen, will present her literary work and the new collection of stories “You and I were a couple” in the House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić.
As the author herself says: “There are couples connected for life and those who, through habit, have not known lasting love, the one that implies mutual support and understanding, which are also important effects of love.”
The dialogue with the writer will be led by journalist Danijela Đonović.
We invite all lovers of literature to attend the evening, where we will take a peek into human nature, love and relationships that we recognize through the stories of Ljubica Arsić.
