The lecture entitled “Contemporary drawing in the 21st century” will be held on Thursday, August 20, at 6 p.m., in the Josip Bepo Benković Gallery. The lecture will be held by professor and creator Vjeko Sager.

Long freed from its subordinate role as a “preparatory sketch or auxiliary tool”, drawing in the 21st century becomes the primary tool for questioning the limits of human creativity. Through this 45-minute presentation, Professor Sager will present to the audience achievements in the field of drawing on the international scene, with a special focus on trends that have opened the way to new experiences and thus hinted at future steps towards the integration of knowledge and creativity.
