HERCEG NOVI CELEBRATES EUROPE DAY ON MAY 11 THROUGH THE STORY OF COMMUNITY

May 11- 4:45 pm

The cultural program on the occasion of Europe Day will be held on Monday, May 11, in the Park Hall, and the opening is scheduled for 4:45 p.m., when Filip Ivanović – Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Ivan Otović – Vice President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi and Ljiljana Karanović – Director of JUSMŠ “Ivan Goran Kovačić” will speak. Moderators will be Iska Padov and Mia Banović, students of Junior High School “Ivan Goran Kovačić”.

The cultural and artistic program “𝑀𝑜𝑜𝑔𝓊 𝒶𝒶, 𝓁𝒾𝒾𝑒 𝑜𝑜𝒶𝒶”, prepared by the students of Junior High School “Ivan Goran Kovačić”, will be held from 5 p.m., and brings a combination of music, drama and fine arts.

The evening opens with a choir singing the national anthem, followed by a stage performance that reminds us of the importance of community and closeness between people. Music and drama are alternated through different segments, including the musical part from the musical “Hair”, which brings the spirit of freedom and togetherness. The program continues with a story about respect and love between people, and ends with a note dedicated to Montenegro.

In parallel, through the “Hands” exhibition, students’ art works symbolically connect touch, warmth and friendship – what makes togetherness real.

We celebrate Europe Day together in Herceg Novi!
