"GOLDEN HANDS" WORKSHOP - CONTINUATION OF THE TRADITION THROUGH ZLATOVEZ

NGO RUKE, in cooperation with Zeljka Moskov, organizes a series of workshops called “Golden Hands”, where you will have the opportunity to learn about one of the most beautiful and delicate traditional techniques of Montenegro – gold embroidery.

Zlatovez is an old embroidery technique with gold and silver threads, which used to decorate folk costumes, belts, hats and festive textile items. This art requires patience, precision and a sense of beauty, and each thread carries a part of the rich cultural heritage of our region.

During the workshops, the participants will learn the basics of gold embroidery through pleasant socializing and have the opportunity to make their own unique handiwork, which they will take with them as a memory and proof of their own skills.

Workshop dates: November 18, 22, 25 and 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Location: premises of the NGO Nova Šansa in Herceg Novi, ground floor of the Novljanka building in Topla

Price of the workshop: €40
