On Monday, August 11, starting at 8:30 p.m., the opening of the exhibition “FLORILÈGE” – Sofia Di Garofani will be held in the foyer of the Park Hall.
The artist, who has been living between Herceg Novi, Belgrade and Paris for 35 years, brings us a retrospective of her work — the tapestries and pastels for which she is recognizable on the regional art scene.
Her work combines the texture of weaving and the third dimension, and her distinctive dry pastel style earned Sofia a professorship at the High School of Applied Arts in Paris.
Đorđe Malavrazić and Đuro Lubarda will speak about the work of Sofia Di Garofani at the opening.
All interested visitors will have a unique opportunity to view the works of ladies from aristocratic circles, in the period from August 11 to 18, in the foyer of the Park Hall.
Don’t miss the opportunity to peek into the world of unique shapes, colors and textures!
