The official opening of the event, as well as the exhibition “80 years of Moomin stories”, will be held by H.E. Mr. Niklas Lindqvist, Ambassador of Finland, as part of the program marking 80 years since the creation of the favorite stories of the Finnish writer and artist Tova Jansson.

EVENING PROGRAM – September 29:

7 p.m. – Concert by the participants of the Hannikainen masterclass

8 p.m. – Opening ceremony of the exhibition “80 years of Moomin stories”

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HANNIKAINEN MASTERCLASS:

We invite solo singers and students of solo singing to participate in a vocal masterclass led by Katherine Haataja, mezzo-soprano of Finnish origin, vocal pedagogue and founder of the Operosa Festival, accompanied by Petra Jović on piano.

In the spirit of promoting the diversity and richness of classical music in Montenegro, the traditional Operosa Hannikainen masterclass program is dedicated to the Finnish vocal repertoire, with a special emphasis on the works of composers from the Hannikainen family.

Participation is free and open to:

– active participants (students who sing) i

– observers (students and teachers).

Preparation:

– 1 composition of your choice

– 1 composition by a Finnish composer from the Hanikainen family

Sheet music and audio materials of Hannikainen’s compositions are provided.

The masterclass will end with a concert by the participants at 7 p.m., and the Hannikainen prize will be awarded for the best interpretation of a piece from the course.
