Large areas of massive rocks provide shade and conduct rainwater to these green oases, ensuring their survival, thanks to which species that we could not expect to thrive in Ljuti karst. The combination of extremely rugged and rugged terrain, full of jutting viewpoints, but also pits and caves, with real forest “tunnels”, makes Ljuti karst so special and worth a visit, according to the Agency for Development and Protection of Orjen.
