"DIACHRONIKO" AT THE NINETEENTH GUITAR ART SUMMER FEST

“Diachroniko” Ensemble – an evening of Greek music, will be held on Tuesday, August 5, starting at 9 p.m., on Music Square, in the Old Town, as part of the “Guitar Art Summer Fest 2025″.

The music ensemble DIACHRONIKO was born out of the members’ love for old and new Greek music, as well as classical music. The ensemble was founded in 2006 and initially performed instrumental music as a duo consisting of two guitars.

Its main goal is to highlight and promote quality music, as well as raise citizens’ awareness of contemporary musical topics through a series of activities at the local, national and international level. Ensemble Diachroniko consists of composer, guitarist and singer Christos Vernardos, guitarist Despina Arvanitidis, singer Dimitra Antonakudi, violinist Dimitris Mandrinos, bouzouki player Simos Stafilakos and drummer Stavros Rentis.
