On Wednesday, September 30, three holidays will be solemnly celebrated: the Day of the NGO “Bokeljska mornarica 809-Podružnica Herceg Novi”, the day of the liberation of Herceg Novi from Turkish rule in 1687 and the Day of St. Jerome, the patron saint of Herceg Novi.

As announced by the organizers, from the Herceg Novi Branch of the Boka Navy, tomorrow at 4:45 p.m. the Main Detachment of the Boka Navy will gather in Boka Park, where the report will be handed over to the vice admiral or the first major.

At 5:00 p.m., it was announced that the representative of the Municipality would receive the national flag, handing over the report to the President of the Municipality. After that, the Main Squad moves along Njegoševa Street towards Nikola Đurković Square.

There, the Squad will demand passage and the opening of the city gates with one shot in the air. Approval for the passage will be received by returning a shot from the two sailors who will be on the Tor.

After that, the Main Detachment with representatives of the local self-government will stay in front of the Church of St. Jerome, where they will present a report to the admiral, fire an honorary platoon and dance the traditional round of St. Tripuna.

At the end, there will be an appropriate snack in the Župni dom.

At 6 p.m., the mass begins in the church of St. Jerome.
