Diklić is one of the most respected and important actors from the former Yugoslavia. During his rich career, he performed more than 200 roles in film, television and theater.
The audience remembers him for anthology productions such as National Class, Marathoners Run the Circle of Honor, Balkan Express, Collection Center, Profesionalac, Tourneja and numerous other films, but also for his striking television and theater roles.
His acting is characterized by naturalness, subtlety and the rare ability to interpret dramatic, comedic and character roles with equal conviction. During his career, he received numerous awards for his acting work, including awards for best male roles and awards for outstanding contribution to the art of cinema.
His connection with Herceg Novi is also special. Bogdan Diklić was a guest of the first edition of our festival.
That is why we are particularly pleased that he will be presented with the “Milan Žmukić” award at the 39th Film Festival Herceg Novi – Montenegro Film Festival.
