Sport anglers open competition programs planned during the second weekend of the 57th Mimosa Festival.
The 26th Mimosa Cup in sport fishing will be officially opened tomorrow (February 20) in the organization of the Association for Sport Fishing in the Sea of Montenegro. The ceremony is planned at 9:00 a.m. at the Talia Hotel, and the competition will last until Sunday, February 22, when the best winners will be awarded trophies.
A small stair race organized by the Herceg Novi Triathlon Club will be held on Saturday, February 21. The youngest will try their hand at the track from Škver to Nikola Đurković Square, and the start is planned at 1 pm in the city port.
Billiard club Portus is organizing Mimoza open Herceg Novi 2026 from tomorrow until Sunday, February 22. Billiards will be played in the billiard clubs Portus on Podima and Predator on Topla II.
On Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22, the 48th Mimosa Cup 2026 football tournament will be held on the Solil auxiliary field in Igalo. The organizer is the Igalo 1929 Football Club.
We would like to remind you that on Sunday there is also a tournament in Picigino, which starts at 11 a.m. on Raffaello beach, as well as a brischula and treshetta tournament, which starts at 10 a.m. in the Kantula tavern.
The boxing match of Zvjezdan Vidaković for the WBO title has been postponed to March 28 due to the withdrawal of the opponent, according to the Gold Champion Boxing Club.
The organizers of the sports programs of the 57th Mimosa Festival are sports clubs and organizations from Herceg Novi, with the support of the Municipality of Herceg Novi – the Secretariat for Social Activities and International Cooperation, numerous friends and sponsors.
