The “Lexicon of the Archeology of Montenegro” published by the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts will be presented to Heceg Novi residents on Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m., in the Josip Bepo Benković Gallery.

This important edition was promoted at the end of last year in the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro.

This valuable work, which represents an important contribution to the study of the archaeological heritage of Montenegro, will be talked about by the President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi Stevan Katić, the director of the JU “Mirko Komnenović City Museum and the Josip Bepo Benković Gallery” Gordana Krunić, as well as the general director of the Directorate for Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture and Media Dobrila Vlahović.

Radmila Ćapin, member of the Lexicon Editorial Board, will participate in the promotion, while Dejan Gazivoda is the editor-in-chief of this edition.

“Lexicon of the Archeology of Montenegro”, published at the end of last year, gathers relevant data on archaeological sites, research and cultural heritage, and represents a significant contribution to the scientific and professional public, as well as to all those interested in the history and heritage of Montenegro.
