The dance performance “How far to the end” – Ballet troupe “Ballo”, Podgorica / Montenegrin National Theater, will be performed on the stage of the Park Dvorana, on Wednesday, April 29, starting at 8 p.m., as part of the program of the 31st HAPS.

The play features: Anja Misović, Miloš Kašćelan, Nevena Penava, Luka Stanković, Kristina Mrkić and high school ballerina Staša Radenović.

“The choreography, authored by the drama artist Julija Milačić Petrović Njegoš, and co-authored by the choreographer and ballet teacher Tamara Vujošević-Mandić, explores the psychological and emotional consequences of the destruction of the family on the young generation, showing both their individual struggle and the collective feeling of alienation, and the need to reconnect with themselves and others. Through bodily expression, the authors and performers initiate a conversation about the mechanisms of violence and isolation, as well as about possible healing.” (Portal of Montenegro)

“Through this choreo-drama, through movement and dance, as the most natural and most direct form of human expression, the troupe ‘Ballo’ opens space for reflection and conversation. By asking difficult and concrete questions, this author’s creation encourages individuals and the community to face challenges and persevere in the search for solutions and truth,” said the “Miloš Karadaglić” Foundation, which supported the performance through an international competition for funding and co-financing of cultural and artistic projects.

The troupe “Ballo” is a guest at HAPS for the first time, although (its founder and owner) Hercegnov Theater cooperated intensively with both authors: Julija Milačić played in the play “Plan B” in 2009, and Tamara Vujošević Mandić was the choreographer in several HP plays and in the 2nd HAPS project “Are you alone tonight”-

The performance at HAPS is performed on World Artistic Dance Day (April 29).
