Under the slogan “While everything sleeps, the mimosa wakes up”, this year’s Mimosa Festival will offer 19 sports competitions, including tournaments with decades of tradition, but also new content.

The first program in the series is “Night of the Full Moon” in Orjen. The traditional ascent and gathering of mountaineers are scheduled for today and tomorrow, February 1, organized by the Subra Mountaineering Club, and the event is also included in the calendar of the Mountaineering Association of Montenegro.

The Herceg Novi 1949 Chess Club will host the 12th International Memorial Chess Tournament named after the Novi chess player Đorđe Konjević, which will be held on Saturday, February 7, at the Play Hotel.

From Friday, February 13th to Sunday, February 15th, on the slopes of Topla, the Val Bućarski Club will welcome the participants of the 41st International Bućarski Tournament Mimosa Cup 2026. In case of rain, the tournament will be held in the hall in Tivat.

Women’s basketball club Herceg Novi 1987 will organize Mimoza Cup WBBL 2026 on Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14. The matches will be played on the first day in the Igalo Sports Center, and a day later in the hall of the “Milan Vuković” Elementary School.

The traditional, 52nd Mimosa Cup in sailing will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 14 and 15 in the waters of the Herzegnov Bay, and the regatta is hosted by the Jugole Grakalić Sailing Club.

Karate club Shotokan team will organize the 23rd International Karate Tournament Mimoza Open Herceg Novi 2026. The competition will be held on Saturday, February 14, at the Igalo Sports Center.

Organized by the Association for Sports Fishing in the Sea of Montenegro, the 26th Mimosa Cup in sport fishing will be held in Igalo. The competition is scheduled from Thursday, February 19 to Sunday, February 22.

Boxer Zvjezdan Vidaković will fight for the WBO title on Friday, February 20, at the Igalo Sports Center. The organizer of the event is the Gold Champion Boxing Club.

Billiard club Portus will organize Mimoza open Herceg Novi 2026 from Friday, February 20, to Sunday, February 22. Billiards will be played in the billiard clubs Portus on Podima and Predator on Topla II.

The 48th Mimosa Cup 2026 football tournament will be held on February 21 and 22 (Saturday and Sunday), on the Solil auxiliary field in Igalo, and the organizer is the Igalo 1929 Football Club.

Herceg Novi Tennis Club is organizing the Golden Mimosa International Tennis Tournament 2026. The matches will be played from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1 on the courts in Topla.

The 43rd Mimosa International Judo Cup 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, February 28 at the Igalo Sports Center and is hosted by the Igalo Judo Club.

VIII Mimosa Cup 2026 in gymnastics will be organized by the Adriatic Kids Gymnastics Club on Saturday, February 28 in the hall of the “Milan Vuković” Elementary School.

The announcement of the city’s best athletes will take place on Friday, March 6, at the “Evening of Champions” program in the Park Hall, from 7 p.m.

The novelty in the program is the gaming competition, Mimoza Game Fest 2026. The organizer is the Herceg Novi Gaming Center, and the tournament will be held in the Igalo Sports Center and the Herceg Novi Gaming Center from Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8.

The exhibition winter car race Kameno – Borići Mimosa Cup 2026 will be organized by the Herceg Novi Auto Moto Sports Club on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.

Women’s basketball club Primorje will host the 9th International Basketball Tournament Mimoza 2026, which is scheduled from Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15 at the Igalo Sports Center.

Another novelty in the program is the Children’s Tennis Festival – Mimosa 2026. The event intended for the youngest will be held on Saturday, March 21 in the Polino Arena and the Igalo Sports Center.

The sports program of the 57th Mimosa Festival will be rounded off by the Mimosa Archery Cup 2026. The organizer is the Savina Archery Club, and the competition will be held on March 22 at the Igalo Sports Center.

The organizers of the sports programs of the 57th Mimosa Festival are sports clubs and organizations from Herceg Novi, with the support of the Municipality of Herceg Novi – the Secretariat for Social Activities and International Cooperation, numerous friends and sponsors.
