DOCUMENTARY FILM “ČOVJEK LAVINA”
The network of movie theaters of Montenegro is proud to announce the screening of the documentary film “Čovjek lavina” at Hall Park in Herceg Novi, on November 4, at 8 p.m.
A powerful, emotional and rhythmically charged portrait of Dragoljub Đuričić, a legendary drummer whose life was louder than any chorus.
This film, directed by Slobodanka Radun, takes us through the incredible life journey of a man who was not only a musician – he was a movement. Born in the village of Cuce, matured in Herceg Novi, created in Belgrade, Skopje and all over the former Yugoslavia – Dragoljub said through the rhythm of the drums what many were not allowed to say.
“Čovjek lavina” is more than a music documentary. It is a story about freedom, resistance, love for the stage, for the audience and for life. Through archival footage, honest conversations with colleagues and friends and the unmistakably painted atmosphere of the time – the film reminds us of the power of authenticity and the power of art.
This cinematic avalanche is worth seeing from the front row. Come and let’s pay tribute together to the man who marched forward with a drum in everything and through life.
