The promotion of Bishop Grigorije’s book, “Stranger in the forest” will be held on Tuesday, August 5, at 9 p.m., in the beautiful setting of the House of Nobel Laureate Ivo Andrić.
Bishop Grigorije strongly emphasizes that “there is nothing more powerful than a living word, nothing more beautiful than a conversation and a story.” Books teach us about life – how to look wider, empathize and overcome our own narrow-mindedness. By opening space for dialogue and honest conversation, we enable connection with others, the ability for joy and sorrow, successes and failures, he points out that without a story – we can “die of sadness”.
This thought is the very core of the book “Stranger in the forest”, where, through the narration and dialogue with the hermit priest, Bishop Grigorije shows how words and encounters with others open the vastness of spirituality, self-knowledge and emotional connection.
