We are delighted to introduce baritone Andrija Sekulić, who performs the role of Belcore in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love).
Belcore is the confident and charismatic sergeant who believes that charm and determination can win any heart. Andrija brings this colourful character to life with remarkable charisma, commanding stage presence, and a voice that captivates audiences from the very first moment.
Andrija is currently pursuing opera studies at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, under the guidance of Professor Snežana Stamenković.
A recipient of numerous first prizes at international competitions and several prestigious scholarships, his repertoire includes Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Harlequin (Ariadne auf Naxos), Papageno (The Magic Flute), and Uberto (La serva padrona). He collaborates with renowned artists such as Julia Lezhneva and regularly appears as a guest artist at Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern and Oper Frankfurt.
