The official opening of the 43rd Music Days in Herceg Novi will be held on Friday, July 10, starting at 9:30 p.m., in the Park Hall, when the Herceg Novi audience will have the special privilege of enjoying a concert by the Artistic Director of the festival, Boris Kraljević, a pianist, who, as is customary, will perform in the city where he first learned about music and the piano, and by the Herceg Novi chamber orchestra Camerata, conducted by the renowned Russian-French composer Ivan Velikanov.

On the eve of the beginning of the 43rd International Festival of Art Music, the Artistic Director of the festival, a celebrated pianist and pedagogue from Herceg Novi, says: “The mobility of artists and ideas, the creation of top musical events, the merging of the past and the future, the meeting of different cultures and numerous musical personalities, the opening of new avenues of artistic and social dialogue, cooperation and innovation, are the components of the Herceg Novi festival, where artists and audiences alike aspire to the better and more beautiful side of life. With the desire to fulfill meaning and joy this time as well creative gathering, we want the festival to have an unhindered interpretive flow, support from the public and the audience, and our Herceg Novi to once again experience its festival of musical art with delight, and thus, together with the Days of Music, remain an important pillar of the culture of Montenegro, making it a better part of its overall reality”.
